Reward or punish risk-taking behaviour?

Bonuses and pay were invented to reward people for doing something successfully, but what happens if those people take too many risks and create a economical crisis and a very angry public? Gordon Brown and Alastair Darling searched for solutions to recover the economy by rewarding long-term success rather than short-term risk-taking. By extending the period of payment, a company can hold more capital to work towards a more stable financial situation. They still need to define how they will extend the periods of benefits and how they can ameliorate the transparancy of payment.

  1. Clear message but flow is hampered by the accuracy errors

    S1: economic crisis
S1: I'd drop the part of the very angry public
S2: to recover the economy (un-English phrase)
    S4: unclear who 'they' is
